CHRISTMAS PAGEANT

Hi, Everyone!

 

This Christmas, we are so excited that East Granby Congregational Church will present a Virtual Christmas Pageant!  Every year, our entire congregation--young and young-at-heart get together to recount and celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.  This year is no different, though we will be doing so from our homes🏠 in a private Zoom session. 

 

 Please sign up your entire household for a parts in the pageant.  Everyone has a role to play! 

 

  • Please sign up your kids for non speaking parts! (🐑Sheep that say BAAAAH, "MOO" cows🐮, etc...... and some 😇angels to simply look glorious🎇🎆💖!!)

  • Please sign up your reading kids for speaking parts!

  • Please sign YOURSELF up for either!!

  • Don’t want to be in the pageant? Register to come anyway to witness our re-telling of the miracle at Bethlehem!

 

 Each cast member will be provided with a script and a prop/costume to assist them in their assigned role (speaking or non-speaking part) in the pageant.  Please reply to this email no later than Sunday, December 13th to register!  Kindly provide:

  • the name of each participant and the type of part s/he will play

  • the name your party will go by on Zoom (so that we recognize you) 

 

Then, On Saturday, December 19th, from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. we will have your scripts and props ready for you to pick up at the East Entrance of the church building (near the church office and the big parking lot).  This will be a time of celebration and connection as well:  

  • Get your goodies:  

    • a bag 🛍containing pageant materials  📑🌟

    • a sweet treat to enjoy later on! ☕🍭
      Leticia🙋‍♀️along with Mary🙋‍♀️💻( via IPad, LOL) will hand out bags

  • Pastor Pam will be there to say hello!🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️

  • ***There will be energetic🎄Christmas carolers🎶 present to joyfully serenade you, from a distance, in concert with our fabulous accompanist, Juli Hall  🎶🎹

Note:  If you are unable to pick up your materials on Saturday, 12/19, please let us know on or before December 16th, and we will deliver your script, props, and goodies to your home.  🚚  

 

Whatever your role or level of participation:  Zoom invites will be sent to all -- both participants and attendees--on Saturday night, December 19.  So make sure you sign up!

 

Then, on Sunday, December 20th, at 10:30 a.m., we will present our 2020 Christmas Pageant.  The Zoom meeting will open up at 10:15 a.m. to allow time for all to file in and get ready. 🎭"Places, everyone!  Places!"😉

2. Register to attend!
