East Granby Congregational Church
"Spiritual Formation is prepping the garden for a fruitful year! Thank you to Kevin Bach and the Hecht Family for getting us started. The vegetables produced here will go directly to the Friend-to-Friend food pantry and support families in East Granby.
We are very excited for the church family to be able to come together to grow fresh produce. The garden will need to be watered twice a week, with the available sprinkler, for an hour (adjust based on help from Mother Nature!).
The garden consists of Squash, Zucchini, Tomatoes, and Cucumbers. If you volunteer for a week where vegetables are ready to pick, we ask that you pick, at a minimum, before Wednesday and Friday mornings as that is when the food pantry is open. Vegetables could be ready more frequently than that if you would like to stop by more frequently during your assigned week.
Please click on the link and let us know what week(s) you would like to volunteer. (see dates to the right)
Your help is greatly appreciated!
Saturday through Friday
Please check back for updates
for the spring ground breaking.
