For the Israelites, the Jubilee was to be a time of restoration and forgiveness, a time of renewed relationship with community and with God, a time of worship, thanksgiving and joy (Leviticus 25). So it is for us, too, at EGCC.
This is a time that we, as a community and as individuals, consider and renew our commitment of ourselves to the Body of Christ as made manifest in East Granby Congregational Church. The Jubilee Covenant Renewal begins Sunday, October 17th and ends on Sunday, November 14th, when we return our Jubilee Covenant Renewal cards during worship.
